What We Do

Pole fitness and movement is a fun, empowering, and liberating workout. It’s a great way to improve your body strength and flexibility, while also learning some awesome dance moves. Townsville Pole Fitness is a specialist in the art of Pole Dancing whether you’re looking for classes, workshops or private functions, we have it all!

Classes

Want to increase the difficulty or focus on a specific skill? Our Classes are the perfect opportunity for you to explore and extend your body. 

Pole Levels – 8 Week Courses

If you have never done pole before you will start at Level 1. No experience? No Problems.  No minimum fitness level or prior experience required.  If you have poled before come in for an assessment!  

When you sign up for a pole term, you will be enrolled into the same class time each week for the 8 weeks. 

Cost of 8 week term is $220 – comprising of an hour long pole lesson each week plus access to our core and flex classes. 

$110 for each additional pole class including low flow classes.

Low Flow

All Low Flow classes are choreography based, you will be taught a dance routine incorporating the pole and elements of the chosen style. 8 week courses and casual classes/workshops available.

Low Flow with Tammy – dancing around the base of the pole in fun and challenging ways

Exotic with Jayde – build strength and endurance with a sensual focus

Contemporary with Jayde – graceful movements creating beautiful lines

Sensual Flow with Mia – embraces sensuality and musicality with usage of props

Showgirls with Sarah – learn audience engagement with attention grabbing movements

Flex

Stretching your body to become more supple and flexible offers many physical benefits. Such training allows for easier and deeper movements while building strength and stability. Stretching your muscles and joints also leads to greater range of motion, improved balance, and increased flexibility.

This is a complimentary class when you sign up for a pole term, or $10 per class if you do not do pole.
Bookings required each week.

Core

Having a strong CORE means that you will be able to move more efficiently and effectively, thereby improving your performance inside the studio, in a sporting arena and in everyday life. This class will focus on exercises to improve your core, not just your abs!
 
This is a complimentary class when you sign up for pole term, or $10 per class if you are not a pole student.

Workshops

Run frequently as 1 hour casual classes as we know sometimes life gets in the way of committing to a whole term.  

Twerk – get excited for this high energy, butt building, sweat inducing class.  Joggers, knee pads and drink bottle a must! No prior experience necessary and each class is open to all levels. 

Chairs – learn fun and exciting ways to incorporate a chair into your dance routine.  Heels can be worn or go barefoot. No prior experience necessary and each class is open to all levels. 

Flips’n’Tricks – learn some new movements and dismounts not taught in our regular classes.  Must be able to invert and hold a strong outside leg hang to participate.  Static pole based.

Doubles – grab your pole bestie and learn some tricks you can do together on the pole. Must be able to invert and hold a strong outside leg hang to participate. 

Low Flow – learn a short choreography using basework.  Knee pads are definitely required and heels are optional. No prior experience necessary and each class is open to all levels. 

Elite – Comp Training

Want more of a challenge? Enter a competition.  Several competitions are held each year around the state.  We can offer you the support and wisdom you need to choreograph and perform a routine.  Tarsha has competed and placed in several competitions and would love to help you perfect your performance.

Mums & Bubs

A class where you can bring your young children and not feel embarrassed.  Please note we do not offer a creche and the children will remain in the studio with you – we do have a kids play area attached to the studio.  We can lend a hand to hold and entertain while you attempt your moves!!  And we are sure your little one will make themselves right at home and nap wherever they feel comfortable!

Private Lessons
